Walk Slowly, Bow Often is a retreat for women who are weary, lost, or disoriented by where they find themselves, a space for anyone who is worn down, worn out, or whose soul needs tender care. We hope to create space to help us remember and come home to who we are, to who God is. This is an invitation to begin to make friends with—and inhabit—the particular season in which we find ourselves and to discover hope and peace as we move more deeply into our lives.
Our weekend will offer care, nurture, and calm through embodied presence. We’ll provide times for connection and contemplative prayer, for solitude and being in nature, for movement through yoga and dance, for rest, for delicious food, and good drinks. We offer this retreat with hopes for rest and restoration.
"and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light, and to shine."
Mary Oliver, "When I am Among the Trees"
